The Tuscaloosa County Health Department has made us aware that a case of pertussis, also known as whooping cough, has been diagnosed in an individual who is part of Hillcrest High School. We are required to make you aware of this and share information with you from the Alabama Department of Public Health.

October is Bullying Prevention Month, a time to celebrate the importance of kindness and respect, and take a stand against hostility and intimidation. But this commitment lasts all year long.
Learn about the variety of programs TCSS has in place to help students feel safe, promote their emotional well-being, and prevent bullying.
On Wednesday, October 16, TCSS 10th and 12th grade students will participate in their ACT state assessments, and 9th and 11th grade students will participate in an e-learning day.
